Terms of Service
1. Introduction
Welcome to Balidoc, your trusted platform for online doctor consultations. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the services provided by Balidoc (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By using our services, you agree to these Terms.
2. Service Description
Balidoc provides online doctor consultation services through licensed healthcare professionals. Prescriptions are issued only at the discretion of a licensed physician after a consultation. Controlled substances are not prescribed through this platform.
Important: Our services are not intended for medical emergencies. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call your local emergency number immediately.
3. Eligibility
Our services are intended for users aged 18 and older. If you are under 18, you may only use our services under the supervision and consent of a parent or legal guardian.
4. User Conduct
Users are expected to provide accurate information and act respectfully during consultations. Use of our services while intoxicated, or in a manner that is abusive, discriminatory, or unlawful, is strictly prohibited.
5. Payment and Refunds
-
The first general consultation booked through the Balidoc platform with one of our General Practitioners (GPs) is provided free of charge.
-
This free first consultation is informative in nature, designed to discuss your medical concerns with a GP and determine whether additional services, specialist consultations, or packages are appropriate.
-
The free consultation offer does not apply to specialist consultations, subscription packages, or other paid services offered on the platform.
-
All subsequent consultations and additional services (including prescriptions, referrals, specialist consultations, medication delivery, or care packages) require payment through our designated payment system.
-
Each paid service is charged separately; there are no recurring charges unless explicitly stated.
-
Paid services are subject to our Refund and Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
6. Intellectual Property and Data Ownership
All content on the Balidoc platform (such as website design, text, graphics, and logos) is our intellectual property. Medical records and personal health information belong to the patient. Balidoc processes this information only in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable laws.
7. Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute, you agree to first contact Balidoc at info@balidoc.com to attempt informal resolution. If the issue cannot be resolved, disputes shall be governed by the laws of Indonesia and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Indonesian courts.
8. Limitation of Liability and Disclaimer of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
-
Balidoc and its staff make no warranties or guarantees regarding treatment outcomes.
