What it's for

Land in Bali with your health sorted

  • Travelling on regular, ongoing medication
  • Medication you're not sure you can bring in
  • A repeat prescription for a long stay
  • Peace of mind before a big trip
  • Medication ready & waiting when you land
  • Honest advice on what's legal in Indonesia

Don't gamble at the airport. Indonesia has strict rules on what medication you can bring in, and getting it wrong can mean it's confiscated, or worse. A quick pre-departure consultation means a doctor confirms what's possible and plans it for you, before you fly.

“Very convenient service. They deliver anywhere in Bali. I'm staying on the East Coast, two hours from the main locations, but they still delivered prescribed medicine without any issues.”

Your questions, answered

Why sort my prescription before I arrive?

Many medications are restricted at Indonesian customs, and bringing the wrong thing can mean serious trouble. A pre-departure consultation means a doctor confirms what's possible before you fly, so you arrive covered, not caught out.

Can you have my medication ready when I land?

Often, yes. Where it's appropriate and legal, we arrange a locally-supplied prescription so your medication is ready or delivered to your accommodation on arrival.

What if I can just bring my own medication?

Great, and the doctor will tell you that honestly. The GP consultation is free, so even confirming you're fine to travel costs you nothing.

What about controlled or restricted medication?

Some medication, including controlled substances, requires a specialist consultation and may be restricted under Indonesian law. We'll always be straight with you about what's possible and suggest safe, legal options.

Can you prescribe based on my doctor's advice from home?

Not directly: Indonesian law requires a prescription to be issued by a doctor licensed in Indonesia, after their own assessment. Do share your existing prescription, medical records or a letter from your doctor, they genuinely help. Where your medication isn't available in Indonesia, our doctor can often arrange a locally available equivalent.

Is this legitimate?

Yes: real licensed doctors, a BPOM-registered partner pharmacy, and Bali Doc is LegitScript Certified.
