Refund and Cancellation Policy

Introduction

At Balidoc, we aim to provide high-quality online doctor consultations and related healthcare services. This Refund and Cancellation Policy explains the circumstances under which you may be eligible for a refund or rescheduling.

Free First Consultation

  • The first general consultation with a Balidoc General Practitioner (GP) is always free of charge and does not cost anything.

  • Because it is free, it is not subject to refunds.

  • Patients may reschedule or cancel the free consultation at no cost by contacting us.

Paid Follow-Up Services

  • Any follow-up services arranged through the Balidoc platform (such as additional consultations, prescriptions, referrals, laboratory tests, medication delivery, or transportation services) are paid services.

  • Payment is required at the time of booking to secure the service.

Rescheduling and Cancellations

  • Free Consultation: Can be rescheduled or canceled at any time without penalty.

  • Paid Services:

    • Rescheduling or cancellation depends on how far the service has already been organized.

    • If Balidoc has not yet committed costs (such as transportation booking or prepayment to a third-party provider), we will reschedule or refund in full.

    • If costs have already been incurred, we will always try to minimize your loss and provide a partial refund or credit where possible.

Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be granted under the following conditions:

  1. Service Not Provided – If Balidoc is unable to deliver the booked service, you will receive a full refund.

  2. Technical Issues (on our side) – If technical problems prevent the service from taking place, a full or partial refund may be granted.

  3. Third-Party Services – If a third-party provider fails to deliver a service already prepaid, we will work with you to secure either a refund or alternative service.

  4. Special Circumstances – In rare cases, Balidoc may, at its discretion, issue a refund or credit.

Refunds will not be issued if:

  • The service was successfully delivered.

  • The patient missed or failed to attend a scheduled paid appointment.

  • Dissatisfaction is based solely on the medical outcome (since treatment effectiveness cannot be guaranteed).

Requesting a Refund

To request a refund, please email info@balidoc.com with the following details:

  • Full Name

  • Appointment Date and Time

  • Type of Service Booked

  • Reason for Refund Request

Processing Refunds

Refund requests will be reviewed within 5 business days. If approved, refunds will be issued to the original payment method used during booking.

Policy Updates

Balidoc reserves the right to amend this Refund and Cancellation Policy at any time. Any changes will be published on our website and, where appropriate, communicated by email.
