Will my employer, airline, or insurer accept it?
Yes. Certificates are signed by a licensed Indonesian doctor with their STR licence number and official stamp, and are accepted by the vast majority of international employers, airlines, travel insurers, and visa authorities. If you have specific requirements, tell us upfront and we'll confirm before you pay.
How fast can I get my certificate?
Most certificates are issued the same day as your consultation. Message us in the morning and you can typically have your signed PDF by early afternoon, often within hours. Urgent requests are handled as a priority.
Do I need to visit a clinic?
In most cases, no. A brief online consultation with a licensed doctor is enough, and the certificate is delivered as a signed PDF. Some types (fit-to-fly, dive clearance, certain visa medicals) may need a physical exam, which we can arrange and always confirm upfront.
Is this legitimate?
Yes. Every consultation is with a real, licensed physician whose STR licence number appears on the certificate, and Bali Doc is LegitScript Certified, independently verified for compliance with healthcare and advertising standards.
Can you issue certificates for pre-existing conditions?
Often, yes. The doctor assesses you online and may request supporting documentation. Each case is evaluated individually. Message us to discuss your specific situation.
Can I get a fit-to-fly certificate fully online?
Usually, yes. If your condition can be safely assessed by video, the doctor issues the certificate as a signed PDF. Depending on your situation you may be asked for recent medical records or test results, and if a physical examination is genuinely needed, we arrange a home visit or an in-person check first, and tell you before you pay.
Can you backdate a medical certificate?
No. A certificate documents the doctor's assessment on the day of your appointment, so we can't issue certificates for earlier dates or past illnesses. That's exactly what protects the value of every certificate we do issue.
